Ava - On Being a Mic Mistress

yes, i now have something new to hold in my hand when i work ... a microphone ... i am very used to holding a set of electric clippers in my hand as part of my day job as a military barber but a mic is a completely new tool for me ... who would have thought? ... i actually find it very comfortable to work with and just to have to remember to: 1. speak straight into it (and not over the top of it) and 2. to move it away from my mouth when i am not speaking into (so the listeners can't hear my breathing ... or any other mutterings)
