Stuart and Garrick - Now, on to the next card/character in our progressive descent down through the 22 cards of the Major Arcana.
The last card we dealt with, of course, is "II-The High Priestess". Now, following her (and what she represents) is "III-The Empress".
So, we are stepping down from the irreproachable to the approachable. Granted "III-The Empress" is far above us - in terms of stature and greatness - but she is still one of us. She is warm-blooded and fertile. Her life is our life. She fills our earth with all the things which give us pleasure, comfort and sustenance.
She is lovable and she is worthy of her crown.
